On what was once a commuter park-and-ride parking lot, Fairfax County, in partnership with Comstock Reston Station Holdings, LC, planned and constructed a seven-level below-grade parking facility–the largest of its kind between New York City and Atlanta. The parking structure was constructed as a part of a $100 million public private partnership (P3) and the estimated cumulative return to the county over the 99-year life of the air-rights ground lease will exceed $3 billion.

Join Virginia Tech in a Feb. 24 webinar to learn more about the challenges that come with a large, complex P3 and how effective leadership can make all the difference in the negotiation and resolution process.  You and your staff will discuss:

  • Predictability vs. Flexibility
  • Building trust
  • The importance of culture
  • Physical configuration
  • Accelerated construction schedule costs
  • Parking revenue
  • Taxes
